Sales Strategy Development Manager

Company Overview: Archipelago International is a leading hospitality management company that operates a portfolio of hotels across Asia and beyond.
Salary: The estimated annual salary for this position is between IDR 120,000,000 to IDR 180,000,000, depending on experience.
Job Description:
- Developing Sales Strategies: Develop, implement, maximize, monitor, and evaluate the hotel's sales strategy to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in rooms, food and beverage, and all other revenue-generating departments.
- Aligning with Corporate Marketing Strategy: Ensure sales activities are aligned with the corporate marketing strategy, and hotel actions have been implemented where appropriate.
- Representing the Sales Function: Represent the sales function on the hotel's executive committee.
- Maintaining Departmental Operations Manuals: Oversee the preparation and update of departmental operations manuals.
- Effective Communication: Conduct regular departmental communications meetings and ensure departmental briefings and meetings are effective and conducted as necessary.
- Sales File Review: Review sales files and systems to ensure correct booking procedures, including group room and meeting program history, contractual agreements, room block analysis, credit and payment documents, etc.
- Nurturing Relationships: Maintain strong, professional relationships with relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners, and other organizations.
- Industry Changes: Respond to changes in the sales function as dictated by the industry, company, and hotel.
- Adhering to Company Policies: Read the hotel's employee handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations, particularly those related to fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
- Continuous Learning: Attend training sessions and meetings as and when required.
