**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create and implement procurement strategies for various projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with vendors and suppliers. Negotiate terms and conditions to secure advantageous deals.
- Conduct make-or-buy analysis, market research, and develop procurement plans. Prepare and issue RFPs/RFQs and evaluate supplier responses.
- Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. Handle contract negotiations and amendments as required.
- Monitor and control procurement costs to ensure adherence to project budgets. Implement cost-saving initiatives and track savings.
- Identify potential procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and objectives.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports on procurement activities, performance, and issues.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a project procurement role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supply chain management.
- Experience with procurement software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, expertise in negotiating terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project and organizational goals.
- Ability to analyze data, market conditions, and supplier performance to make informed decisions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors, stakeholders, and team members.
- Proficiency in managing procurement activities within the scope of project timelines and budgets.
- Attention to detail in contract management, documentation, and compliance.
