A premium brand specialising in handcrafted, organic chocolate made from sustainably sourced Balinese cacao, is looking for a Head Barista & Beverage Development Manager to join their team.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Diploma / Degree holder in food and beverage management, hospitality/tourism/hotel management or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years of experience in the café or food and beverage industry, including experience in leadership or management roles.
- Experience working in a franchise or café chain environment (such as Starbucks or Coffee Bean) is preferred, with a focus on standardisation and quality control.
- In-depth understanding of coffee making and equipment calibration.
- Experience in developing snack menus and pairing food with beverages.
- Proven ability to train and manage staff on procedures for beverages and snacks.
- Experience in conducting audits and ensuring consistency across various locations for both beverages and food.
- Passion for experimenting with flavours and creating complementary menus for beverages and snacks.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- High organisational ability to manage beverage and food programs across multiple locations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the CEO to develop new recipes for coffee, chocolate, and speciality drinks.
- Continuously refine the beverage menu to align with industry trends.
- Develop and maintain a snack menu (such as brownies, cakes, croissants) that complements the beverage strategy.
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure high-quality snacks that enhance the customer experience.
- Ensure all cafés adhere to the highest standards in beverage and snack presentation, including taste, appearance, and temperature.
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of beverage-making equipment across all locations to ensure consistency.
- Create training programs and guidelines for baristas and staff covering beverage preparation and snack presentation standards.
- Implement procedures that ensure consistency across cafés for both beverages and snacks.
- Conduct routine audits at each café to ensure beverages and snacks are prepared according to company standards.
- Ensure that machine setups, raw materials, and procedures are properly followed at all locations.
- Collaborate with store managers to ensure beverage and snack programs are executed consistently and that customer feedback is utilised to improve offerings.
- Coordinate with suppliers or the procurement team (if involved) to source high-quality ingredients for beverages and snacks.
