Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network.
Job Summary:
This role maximizes sales of Corning Optical Communications (COC) products to Enterprise customers within the assigned territory in a team environment. It involves working across application engineering, supply chain and after sales support with end users, consultants, contractors, and distribution partners to position COC fiber optic solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed sales targets in the assigned territory.
- Characterize customer business goals, objectives, and problems effectively.
- Structure value propositions utilizing innovations and differentiated solutions.
- Ensure a balanced mix of engagements with end users, contractors, distributors, and consultants.
- Manage NPI contractor program in the territory.
- Coordinate joint sales calls with distributor representatives to maximize sales penetration.
- Train channel partners to effectively sell Corning Optical Communications' products.
- Provide timely documentation of engagements and maintain a project pipeline in Salesforce.com.
- Work effectively in a matrix team environment with minimum supervision.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of sales management experience in the assigned territory.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within the same industry.
- Solution and/or consultative selling are highly desired.
- A strong understanding of fiber optic products and solutions for data center and local area networking applications is desired.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian structured cabling market conditions and opportunities is highly desired, including upcoming trends.
- Competence to target and prioritize key customers, proven success in time/territory management.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented individual with confidence to act independently.
- Familiar with and comfortable working in a multinational company (MNC) environment.
