Our Optical Communications segment offers industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. The segment includes two main product groupings: carrier networks and enterprise networks.

Role Overview:

This job involves maximizing sales of Corning Optical Communications (COC) products to Enterprise customers in a specified territory. The role requires collaboration with application engineering, supply chain, and after-sales support teams to position COC fiber optic solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Exceed sales targets in the assigned territory through effective engagement with customers.
  2. Identify and understand customer business objectives and challenges.
  3. Create value propositions that leverage innovative solutions and differentiated offerings.
  4. Maintain a balanced engagement mix with end-users, contractors, distributors, and consultants.
  5. Lead the NPI contractor program in the territory.
  6. Collaborate with distributors to drive sales growth.
  7. Train channel partners on Corning Optical Communications' products.
  8. Document engagements and manage project pipelines in Salesforce.com.
  9. Work effectively in a matrix team environment with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. At least 8 years of sales management experience in the assigned territory.
  2. Proven track record in sales, preferably within the same industry.
  3. Solution and/or consultative selling skills are highly desired.
  4. A strong understanding of fiber optic products and solutions for data centers and local area networks is desired.
  5. In-depth knowledge of the Indonesian structured cabling market, including current market conditions and opportunities, is highly desired.
  6. Ability to target and prioritize key customers, with a proven track record in time and territory management.
  7. Results-driven individual with high motivation and confidence to act independently.
  8. Familiarity with working in a multinational company (MNC) environment.
