Head of Global Sales

We are seeking a Senior Sales Leader to join our team at Wallex. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales background, exceptional leadership skills, and experience in selling out new products across regions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the sales team in identifying and acquiring new corporate clients, ensuring a steady pipeline of leads.
- Develop and implement strategies to convert new business opportunities within assigned leads generated, utilizing a consultative sales approach.
- Drive the sales team to consistently close new business at or above quota level, setting and achieving ambitious sales targets.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Wallex's suite of products and solutions, effectively communicating their value proposition to potential clients.
- Oversee follow-up activities on highly qualified leads at small and mid-sized companies, ensuring no opportunity is missed.
- Foster strong relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to facilitate the growth of new business.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Lead Generation departments to refine and execute the sales strategy, leveraging insights from lead generation efforts.
- Proficiency in English is a must, with strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience leading a high-performing sales team that consistently exceeds goals.
- Minimum of 5 years of selling experience within a Technology or innovative online product environment, preferably in the banking and financial industry or remittance sector.
- Demonstrated experience selling products across regions is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a track record of strong academic achievement.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and strong business acumen, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Capable of working independently while also excelling in a collaborative, global environment.
- Proven success in building relationships at various levels and working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Enjoys being in a client servicing role, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Excellent negotiation skills and a relentless customer focus.
- High levels of energy, passion, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm to inspire and motivate the sales team.
