About the Opportunity:

The Head of Global Sales will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our sales department across regions. This leadership position will be responsible for overseeing the sales team, developing and implementing strategies to acquire new corporate clients, and consistently exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the sales team in identifying and acquiring new corporate clients, ensuring a steady pipeline of leads.
  • Develop and implement strategies to convert new business opportunities within assigned leads generated, utilizing a consultative sales approach.
  • Drive the sales team to consistently close new business at or above quota level, setting and achieving ambitious sales targets.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Wallex's suite of products and solutions, effectively communicating their value proposition to potential clients.
  • Oversee follow-up activities on highly qualified leads at small and mid-sized companies, ensuring no opportunity is missed.
  • Foster strong relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to facilitate the growth of new business.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Lead Generation departments to refine and execute the sales strategy, leveraging insights from lead generation efforts.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in English is a must, with strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a high-performing sales team that consistently exceeds goals.
  • Minimum of 5 years of selling experience within a Technology or innovative online product environment, preferably in the banking and financial industry or remittance sector.
  • Demonstrated experience selling products across regions is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a track record of strong academic achievement.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and strong business acumen, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Capable of working independently while also excelling in a collaborative, global environment.
  • Proven success in building relationships at various levels and working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Enjoys being in a client servicing role, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a relentless customer focus.
  • High levels of energy, passion, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm to inspire and motivate the sales team.
