Sales Director Opportunity

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced sales director to lead our business development efforts in the water industry.

About the Role:

  1. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and increasing revenue through effective business development strategies and tactics.
  2. Leverage existing relationships and networks to identify new opportunities and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  3. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  4. Minimum 15 years of experience in business development and sales, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in selling capital equipment.
  5. Demonstrated success in senior business development and sales roles within large corporations, with a proven track record of closing contracts valued at a minimum of five million USD in the water and/or infrastructure sector.
  6. Strong technical knowledge of water and wastewater treatment equipment and/or technologies is highly desirable.
  7. Possess a strong personality with a solid background in relationship building and managing people.
  8. Proficient in MS Office and familiar with CRM systems.
  9. Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  10. Bridge cultural gaps and direct the company in the right direction aligning with the long-term vision of the company.
  11. Identify, develop, and qualify early opportunities and leads in the country.
  12. Identify suitable partners to increase geographical reach in the country.
  13. Participate in tenders and put bids together with selected partners.
  14. Manage the required database and ensure sufficient insight into the organization.
  15. Ability to work independently and as a team member to assume complete responsibility for the Indonesia market.
  16. Oversee coordination with regional HQ to meet deliverables to clients and partners on a timely manner.
  17. Possess excellent market intelligence and work constantly in positioning the right solution in the market, ahead of competition.
  18. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, business ethics, codes, and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  19. Exposure to legal and regulatory aspects is preferred but not mandatory.
