Key Responsibilities:
The Head of Grant and Contract Acquisition Management will be responsible for Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVIDN)’s successful international and local grant and contract acquisition and management, and strategic positioning with international and local bilateral and multilateral partners, the Government of Indonesia, and World Vision Support Offices (particularly in acquiring international grants). S/he is responsible for ensuring an appropriate strategic plan including the development of the annual business plan and target for the team as well as the professional growth of each team member. S/he is responsible for ensuring that the grant and contract partner’s interests and WVIDN program needs are facilitated well to ensure children's well-being. This position will have a specific role in initiating and growing commercial contracts for WVIDN in alignment with the growing commercial markets, especially from local partners including the Government of Indonesia.

The Activities:
Strategy Development & Planning
- Collaboratively develop and/or update WVIDN’s Grant and Contract Acquisition and Management strategic plan in alignment with the overall WVIDN Ministry Funding Strategy, including the annual business plan, based on updated market/donor landscape and analysis, program priorities, and learning available within WVIDN and global WV system.
- Identify opportunities and keep abreast of changes in bilateral and multilateral donor landscape in particular on changes in funding disbursement/contract type both locally as well as internationally for Indonesia's priority in
- collaboration and coordination with relevant regional and global focal points.
- Specifically develop an initial strategic plan to tap commercial contracts in Indonesia from bilateral and multilateral donors including the Government of Indonesia (GoI).
- Develop and implement plans in coordination with other technical and functional teams.
- Develop WV Indonesia donor relationship management plan and executes it with appropriate national and regional personnel.
- Contribute strategically to the development of Ministry Funding Strategy, Acquisition, Donor Retention Strategy as well as Donor Engagement Plan

Resource Acquisition & Management
- Lead and coordinate WVIDN’s sustainable partnership with various bilateral, and multilateral donors, and the Government of Indonesia, exploring new donors and partners to strengthen WVIDN’s resource pool focusing on the development and implementation of collaborative and impactful projects and or partnerships.
- Lead and coordinate the development of competitive project proposals within the team that meet donor’s requirements in collaboration with program teams and sector specialists that can readily respond to CFPs (call for proposals).
- Lead and coordinate generic bidding package consolidation for WVIDN that meets different donors' requirements and can readily respond to calls for tender or bid offers.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other units to ensure necessary funding growth from corporates to support the increase of national income in alignment with strategic priorities (geographic, sectoral). Secure annual corporate funding target and proper allocation and achievement of individual team member’s targets.
- Maintain oversight of the health of the grant and contract management portfolio (grants under implementation), providing regular updates to key internal and external stakeholders and escalating identified issues as appropriate.

Accountability & Quality Assurance:

- Ensure the quality of proposals and reports generated by National Office.
- Ensure the accuracy and punctuality of funding status for each project within programs to identify possible funding gaps and ensure a smooth transition from one donor source to the next.
- Monitors and evaluates Grant Acquisition and Management plan progress via monthly and quarterly reporting in collaboration with the senior leadership team and Regional Grant Director (South Asia Pacific Office/SAPO).
- Ensure the start up workshop is conducted accordingly
- Ensures maximum adherence and compliance to accountability standards and grant contracts.
- Regularly updates the senior management team on WVIDN engagement with these agencies including new possibilities and terms of engagements
