About Our Client

Our client is a well-known Instrumentation Multinational company.

Job Description

  1. Plan and manage the division according to agreed country development strategies.
  2. Manage the divisional P&L within allocated budget.
  3. Ensure compliance to policies, procedures and values in all areas of operational activity.
  4. Support the delivery of all marketing campaigns.
  5. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and optimisation of quality of Sales Rep proficiency and Application competency.
  6. Provide periodic reports on performance of the division against the set targets to the General Manager/Leadership team.
  7. Monitor and provide guidance on the development of qualified customer database for targeted segments.
  8. Provide guidance to team in Key account management ensuring that high levels of customer satisfaction is consistently achieved.
  9. Support the design and execution of all marketing campaigns, leads generation and management activities.
  10. Participate in Sales visits to key customers to build customer relationship and be their preferred vendor.
  11. Manage the Sales team in qualifying database and updating CRM.
  12. Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedules.
  13. Identify current and potential customer requirements by establishing personal rapport and understanding key requirements.
  14. Articulate technology and product positioning to both the business and technical users and ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales processes.
  15. Provide expert advice and guidance on product & technical information to team and potential/existing customers.
  16. Provide necessary support in the technology evaluation stage of the sales process.
  17. Communicate regulatory compliance requirements and applications effectively, demonstrating market leadership and expertise in the relevant fields.
  18. Provide required support in interaction with customers' engineering teams to effectively illustrate value proposition.
  19. Clearly and concisely communicate business and area objectives to team leaders so that they remain well informed of business activity and of their required contribution to targets.
  20. Take charge of recruitment and ensure effective induction for new team members, monitoring ongoing performance needs.
  21. Manage performance and development of team to maximise sales performance of division.
  22. Plan for succession in the Business Area through the identification of individuals with potential for development and growth.
  23. Encourage Sales Managers/Team Leaders to continuously develop knowledge of local market conditions to identify trends and make appropriate/innovative recommendations to improve and enhance divisional performance.

The Successful Applicant

  1. Degree preferably in Science, Engineering or related field.
  2. Master in Business Administration will be an advantage.
  3. Able to develop and execute business strategies and plans.
  4. Able to read & understand basic financial reports.
  5. Minimum 10 years working experience in a Technical sales Environment with extensive supervision experience.
  6. Understanding of sales & distribution with sound project management skills.
  7. Ability to travel extensively (within Indonesia).
  8. Strong interpersonal skills and influencing ability.
  9. Strong English.
