Job Description

The Regional Sales Director will oversee the performance of Medical Representatives within their assigned territories, ensuring they are motivated, equipped, and aligned with company strategies to drive success on the ground. Responsibilities include:

  1. Territory Oversight: Manage the performance of Medical Representatives within a specific area, planning and overseeing the execution of promotional activities and sales initiatives.
  2. Team Support: Conduct regular field visits to support and guide Medical Representatives, providing training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance standards.
  3. Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals, addressing customer concerns and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  4. Sales Monitoring: Monitor individual and team sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and ensure timely reporting of sales data, market feedback, and competitor activity.
  5. Operational Coordination: Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure product availability, working with marketing teams to implement area-specific promotional campaigns.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, life sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3–5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience in the industry, preferably from a multinational pharmaceutical company, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
