**About Intrepid**
**The Role**
As Head of Business Development, you will be responsible (together with the CEO) for acquiring new clients and expanding our business from existing accounts across all services. You will leverage knowledge of ecommerce and understanding of what makes brands successful to create tailored proposals that address the unique challenges faced by each brand and enable their online growth.
You stay up to date with the latest market developments, work closely with our different in-house teams, both locally and regionally, and maintain close relationships with the key ecommerce platforms and brands. As we continuously expand our services, you evaluate and explore which accounts can benefit from incremental services and thereby generate more revenue for Intrepid.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Identify, prioritize and win business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with potential and existing clients, as well as platform stakeholders.
- Partner with Intrepid leadership to pitch and grow accounts.
- Leverage your expertise to make tailored recommendations to potential and existing clients.
- Create client presentations, structure commercial proposals and prepare contracts. Collaborate on onboarding and business development plans for new clients including commercial and marketing objectives.
- Develop annual business development plans that include top line and bottom-line forecasting.
- Partner with the rest of the country management on NMV goals, planning and forecasting.
- Ensure account retention and further business development.
- Act as a leader on the commercial team who can coach and develop team members.
**Who we look for - the ideal profile**:
- University degree
- Proficiency in English
- Minimum 5-6 years of relevant work experience in Ecommerce, ideally with a brand or distributor, marketplace platforms, or with another enabler,
- Commercial experience - you understand customer needs, know how to craft proposals, win and optimize deals. Your strong interpersonal skills allow you to build strong client relationships.
- Your ability to develop a brand ecommerce strategy and translate it into annual & quarterly plans is backed by strong communication and analytical skills. You are proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
- You have a result-oriented mindset and a track record driving impact in a fast-paced start-up environment. You are flexible and excel at cross-functional collaboration.
