Currently, Lalamove is a leading global on-demand delivery platform with millions of delivery partners serving millions of orders every day. As a Business Development Lead, you will be in charge of driving business growth within the company for our Indonesian operations. Quick wits, problem solving and a team first mentality will be critical to your success. This role is a unique opportunity to have a measurable impact on your market through the growth and optimization of the driver population on the Lalamove platform.
The recruitment process will be carried out in English, and only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
What you'll do:
- Sales operations: acquire and onboard business users by maintaining a healthy pipeline of leads, and by developing and nurturing professional relationships
- Business development: develop new business opportunities and partnerships with customers
- Sales standards: identify, build, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures and Policies to support the activity and solve or prevent issues
- Performance: Lead and develop a high caliber sales team that is driven to deliver results. Regularly track the performance of the team to close deals and retain business users, and build corrective/improving initiatives
- High-profile sales clients: Develop new and existing relationships with high-potential clients who are widely known to have delivery needs in the market.
- Strong communication skills
- Strong sense of prioritization, and structured mindset to cover multiple and complex projects at the same time, without compromising on quality
- Data-driven to identify the leverages and propose the best decisions for the business in every situation
- Leadership skills
- Minimum 3 years relevant sales experience (Startup/logistics industry is a plus)
- Bachelor's degree holder from a reputable university
- Excellent problem solving, presentation, lead generation and negotiation skills
- Experience in API and e-commerce business is a plus
- Experience in operating Salesforce or any CRM tools
- Experience with data and growth metrics
- Indonesian native, with fluency in English is required
- Willing to be placed in Surabaya
