**Work Environment**

We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to support efficiently the expansion of our activities in Energy. You will work in collaborative mode with colleagues based in Thailand and India mainly to detect business opportunities and develop business relationship with all relevant stakeholders in Indonesia for local and overseas projects. You will have a functional reporting line to Business Development Manager.

You will be integrated in Tractebel Energy community, a worldwide network of Energy specialists keen on sharing their knowledge.

All your BD missions have to be performed with the highest standards of Quality / Safety / Legal / Ethics.

**Mission**
- Identify the new opportunity of energy consultancy market in Indonesia, including prospection, leads and tender opportunities. The product includes the renewable, thermal and transmission and distribution.
- Draft and present Tractebel capabilities in order to pitch and convince the potential Client based on their project needs.
- Report the new opportunity and their update stages and or information/remarks in the internal tools, i.e Salesforce. Analyzing & do research of market dynamics, multi variance customer behavior & market trends, competitor activities, our business positioning and opportunities to growth.
- Building & maintaining relationships with potential clients, partners and stakeholders, ensure the close communication with the Client until the receipt of the formal Terms of Reference or Request for Proposal and the status of on-going proposal
- In the event that the opportunity has entered the pre-qualification or tender phase, coordinate internally (also involve other internal international offices) to launch Go No Go meeting, Risk Management Analysis, Ethics check and or other internal compliance process to decide the next action plan to be done.
- Lead the express of interest and proposal preparation by coordinating with the internal team member (also involve other internal international offices) and external companies required, including giving the technical input in developing the proposal. Capable for handling work load pressure occur during submission schedule target. Ability to manage work priority and optimize available resources.
- Familiarize in internal tools to prepare the proposal. Collaborating with cross functional teams, including to sales, marketing, and product development to execute business.
- Develop sales winning strategy on each prospect or tender up to closing transaction and generating revenue for Tractebel Engineering Group. Monitoring and evaluating the performance of business development initiatives and progressively adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Provide support during the contract negotiation and finalization stage for closing deals with clients & partners.
- Representing the company at industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and networking opportunities to clients communities and regulators (ie : Government Department).
- Direct reporting to the Business Development Manager to ensure smooth process in terms of BD and Sales activities.

- Bachelor or master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of business development experience in power sector, especially Renewables Energy and Gas-to-Power business, and preferably from previous experience form Engineering Consultancy company or EPC company.
- Experience in delivering thermal and or renewable projects as consultant or EPC or IPP.
- Basic knowledge of finance is a plus
- Experience and available networks with IFI (International Financial Institution), ECA (Export Credit Agency), or JETP (Just Energy Transition Project) G20 project is a plus.
