Technical Sales Manager ( Oil and Gas ) - Jakarta

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Piping Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in Oil & Gas piping & pipeline systems, combined with strong sales skills to help grow our business. You will work closely with clients in the oil and gas industry to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet industry standards.


• Support the sales team on product knowledge and presentation to client sites.


• Independently identify and pursue new business opportunities, targeting oil and gas companies, contractors, and industrial clients.


• Provide technical expertise to clients, explaining product details, materials, and how our piping systems meet their needs.


• Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with customers.


• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the right product specifications are delivered to clients.


• Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to stay ahead in the market.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.

Required Skills and Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.


• 5+ years of selling experience in piping systems, mechanical engineering, or technical sales, preferably within the Oil and Gas ( Petroleum Industry ) or its EPC contractor.


• Proficiency in piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, ISO) and materials utilized in industrial applications.


• Understand Petroleum Industry process cycle


• Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively explain technical concepts and close sales agreements.


• Experience in client relationship management, demonstrating the ability to establish and maintain long-term business partnerships.


• Analytical skills for market research and sales strategy development.


• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and time management abilities.


• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.


• Own transportation and willingness to travel for client meetings and site inspections.
