**About**:
You will be responsible for achieving a stable and conducive employee relations climate that positively impacts employee engagement, efficiency, and productivity of all employees.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the execution of the Employee and Industrial Relations strategy and is aligned to the organisational goals
- Handle complaints, manage grievance procedures and facilitating counselling in conjunction with other stakeholders
- Manage relationships with unions and ensure that the Company's treatment of employees is consistent with its core business values and objectives
- Work with external legal counsel and specialist consultants as required for the purposes of dispute avoidance and/or resolution
- Ensure the bank complies with the various labour laws and normative employment requisites To succeed in this VP ER and IR job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively, across borders and internal matrix.

**Key Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree with seven years of experience in Employee/Industrial relationships / Law graduated
- Strong experience in dealing with unions
- In-depth knowledge of employment legislation
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation and influencing skills
- Used to working in a high-risk and compliance environment, yet fast-paced and high productivity work conditions
