Job Description

  1. As a Business Unit Manager at MicroPort, you will be responsible for managing appointed distributors and sourcing for new distributors to expand our portfolio in the coronary products market.
  2. You will develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, negotiate and close deals to drive business growth.
  3. You will systematically manage channel partners, collaborating with other divisions and functional heads to build the ONE MicroPort brand.
  4. You will take ownership of our brands, responsible for growing understanding and desire for the concept of our service with key influencers.
  5. You will drive new business development and growth while ensuring profitability and adherence to country regulations and cultural guidelines.
  6. In partnership with our global HQ team, you will identify and prioritize new opportunities for growth and expansion within the area.
  7. You will identify key public and private sector stakeholders and influencers to promote coronary product portfolios.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the coronary or cardiology field (or other medical devices/equipment field).
  • Prior experience in distributor management is essential.
  • Proven track record of managing channel partners.
  • Well organized, results-oriented, and cooperative personality with a commercial degree.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • A self-initiator with the ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Excellent people management, customer service, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Presentation, analytical, and strategy planning skills.
  • A track record of disruptive business growth would be beneficial.
