Cisco Partner Sales Organization aims to develop the most meaningful partner ecosystem, valued by partners, customers and Cisco Employee’s. Growing partner capability in Cisco architectures and solutions, ensuring profitable growth for our ecosystem to deliver business value for Cisco and our customers.
**What You'll Do**
- The Partner Account Manager will help build Cisco's T2 partner community, our key route to market for the SB and MM segments.
- Work with Cisco's Partners, develop and grow a profitable business focused on Cisco Solutions. Work with Partners to develop plans that bring incremental revenue to Cisco.
- Build awareness of the competitive landscape and educate our Partners on strategies to position their Cisco based solutions for success against current and emerging competitors.
- Work as a team player with strong interpersonal skills who can work cross-functionally within Cisco to develop ideas, share best practices and execute business plans.
- Work with Regional architecture PAMs, Partner Systems Engineers, Partner Development Managers and other Cisco Channel Team resources to ensure alignment and consistency with their Partner's focused efforts.
- Partner closely with the Cisco teams to understand their business and better align to the local business environment.
**Who You Are**
- Strong understanding and business insights in the area of Cloud technologies, Software sales, Networking or security technologies.
- Ideally have 5-7 years of experience in a Partner Sales role and good understanding of partner organization structure, distribution and reseller channels and current partner programs would be essential to accelerate the adoption of new technology directions among the partner community.
- Understanding of the Cisco partner landscape (1T, 2T and Distribution), technology competencies, areas of specialization and customer segmentation in order to identify the right set of strategic partners to go to market with Cisco's emerging technologies.
- A business background that enables engagement with Business Decision Makers along with a sales background that will enable collaboration within Cisco and our Partner community
- A demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions for Partners
- The skills to development a Business Plan that combines the Partner's key initiatives and Cisco's priorities for mutual success in the marketplace
- Flexible to work within a geographically distributed and matrix environment. Passionate, positive, and creative attitude and can work in a dynamic, fast paced and changing environment.
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to establish relationships, gain consensus, rapidly establish credibility with and gain confidence of multiple areas across Cisco and Partners.
- The ability to develop and clearly articulate objectives using both analytical thinking, reference to facts and best practices
- Able to drive Cisco business growth through assigned partners
- Strong business development skills to drive new and existing focused technologies with assigned partners.
