Our client, an enchanting luxury boutique hotel, is looking for a Sales Manager to join their team.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field. Advanced degrees/certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in a senior sales role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team to meet and exceed targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in reservation systems, CRM tools, and data analysis to drive sales strategies.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales plans and campaigns.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to identify market trends and opportunities to expand business reach.
- Results-driven, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic and competitive environment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth across all venues.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and brand messaging.
- Analyse market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for sales expansion.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive sales for private events, functions, and group bookings.
- Collaborate with event coordinators and operations teams to ensure successful execution of private events.
- Establish and maintain relationships with event planners, corporate clients, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns to drive reservations and sales.
- Provide input into marketing initiatives based on sales trends, customer feedback, and market analysis.
- Participate in the development of marketing materials and collateral related to sales and reservations.
- Implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience through efficient reservation management and personalised service.
- Work closely with front-of-house teams to optimise seating arrangements and accommodate guest preferences.
- Analyse guest feedback related to reservations and sales interactions, implementing improvements based on insights.
