As we expand our footprint in Southeast Asia, we are looking for a dynamic Head of Sales - SEA with strong industry connections to drive our regional growth.
Job Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Head of Sales - SEA with a min of 5 years of proven experience in EdTech sales, particularly in LMS and related SaaS solutions. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of sales success and strong relationships with educational institutions, government bodies, and key decision-makers within the Ministries of Education and district-level education offices across Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand. This role will focus on setting up sales channels and securing partnerships to expand BeED's market presence, and driving revenue growth across Southeast Asia.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand BeED's presence across Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand.
- Identify and engage with schools, universities, and government education offices to promote BeED's LMS and digital learning solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Ministries of Education and district-level education offices in Southeast Asia to facilitate partnerships and adoption of BeED's solutions.
- Present and demonstrate BeED's solutions to prospective clients, addressing their needs and challenges.
- Manage the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and negotiations to closing deals.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new clients.
- Stay up to date with education policies, market trends, and competitor activities in Southeast Asia to refine sales strategies.
- Provide regular sales reports showcasing pipeline development, market penetration, and revenue performance.
Requirements:
- Min of 5 years of proven experience in EdTech sales, preferably with LMS or related SaaS education solutions.
- Proven track record of successful sales performance, including meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong network and relationships with educational institutions, Ministries of Education, and district-level education offices across Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand.
- Solid understanding of LMS, e-learning platforms, and digital learning trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and using CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia as needed.
