Job Responsibilities
  1. Identify, negotiate, and establish agreements with financial partners (banks, credit cards, BNPL, trade-in, insurance partners, home credit providers) to enhance affordability options for MAP Tech products, including Shark Ninja.
  2. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing financial partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  3. Continuously review affordability based on events, launches, holidays, etc. This role is to be on top of affordability for the SBU, reviewing each week/month the offers based on business needs.
  4. Continuously explore new partnership opportunities to expand affordability solutions and drive greater accessibility, which must include all channels of revenues – online and offline.
Target Setting & Performance Monitoring
  1. Define clear targets and KPIs for partnership programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and sales objectives.
  2. Monitor and analyze the performance of affordability initiatives, optimizing strategies to improve uptake and effectiveness.
  3. Work closely with internal finance, sales, and marketing teams to track impact and drive continuous improvement.
Strategic Planning & Execution
  1. Develop and implement affordability strategies to enhance customer financing options while maintaining compliance with MAP Tech's policies and industry regulations.
  2. Collaborate with regional and global teams to align local affordability initiatives with MAP Tech's broader financial strategies.
  3. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging payment solutions to drive innovation in affordability programs.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting
  1. Serve as the primary liaison between MAP Tech and financial partners, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
  2. Provide regular reports and insights to the MAP Tech Management on partnership performance, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
  3. Coordinate with legal, finance, and compliance teams to manage contractual agreements and ensure regulatory adherence.
  4. Leverage Corp Treasury and work with them closely to get the best deals. Also working with other SBU Finance teams for getting best group leverage.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  2. 8+ years of experience in financial partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances within banking, fintech, trade-in, insurance partners, or consumer electronics industries.
  3. Strong experience in negotiating and managing third-party financial agreements.
  4. Deep understanding of consumer financing models, BNPL, credit systems, and home credit solutions.
  5. Proven ability to set and achieve ambitious business targets.
  6. Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
