Responsibilities
Develop and drive the sales strategy, implement sales tactics that are aligned with the business unit's goals and objectives by managing a portfolio of accounts to achieve sales, volume and gross margin targets.
• Provide market feedback and recommendations to the Sales Director to assist business development, sales forecasting and budget preparation.
• Actively demonstrate a change management ideology and encourage and embrace new ideas that position Lincoln Electric as a customer focused, innovative market leader by actively alligning sales effort toward value based selling and by enforcing solution-based service and offer.
• Lead, encourage and motivate the sales team utilising a hands on, lead by example approach. Actively spend time in the field to coach, mentor and assist the team in executing all planned startegy to target accounts.
• Actively and professionally represent the organisation to industry stakeholders with a key focus on developing strong distributor relationships
• Ensure a supportive culture of innovation, teamwork and high work ethic exists within the team
• Ensure all pricing and inventory management procedures / policies are adhered to.
• Ensure all members of the sales team adopt and implement techniques and skills gained from sales training courses and utilising salesforce in their daily activities
• With approval from the Sales Director, plan, co-ordinate and manage distributor field days, promotional campaigns, trade days and other activities that effectively promote the Lincoln Electric brand
• Ensure all reporting is submitted on time, provides appropriate market based information that includes indeepth information on competitor product offerings, pricing, activities,that complies with the sales and marketing team's standards and objectives.
• Ensure all business activities comply with all relevant acts, legal demands, organizational policies and ethical standards
Qualifications
- 8 to 10 years sales experience in industrial products environment.
• Solid experience in complex, direct and indirect distribution channel environments.
• Ability to demonstrate and value selling products or solutions in the market.
• Ability in channel conflict management and compliance.
• Marketing / Business or Engineering degree preferred.
• Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in Written/Spoken English & Bahasa Indonesia.
