Our client, a leading FMCG in the food sector, is currently looking for a highly experienced Regional Sales Manager, placement in Medan.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead an effective sales team in all Sumatra regions, focusing on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with the company's vision, including quota setting, market segmentation, and promotional initiatives.
  • Monitor team performance regularly and provide the necessary feedback and support to drive optimal results.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement campaigns that support sales growth.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors, strategic partners, and retail outlets, while identifying market expansion opportunities.
  • Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to be presented to senior management.
  • Coach and develop team members to enhance their potential and ensure superior, sustainable performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum education of a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Regional Sales Manager in the FMCG industry (particularly in the food sector) - MUST
  • Proficient in English
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Deep understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour in the retail and consumer goods industry (General Trade & Modern Trade)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel (PivotTable, HLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, IF, etc.).
  • Strong in sales data analysis and data-driven decision-making.
