Senior Executive Underwriter (Sharia)

As a Senior Executive Underwriter, you will conduct initial underwriting and personal underwriting, checking completeness and validity of documents according to standard operating procedures. You will also analyze SPAJ and related documents, giving proper decisions following underwriting guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum bachelor's degree in nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Biology or another relevant field, and more than 3-4 years of experience in underwriting in the life insurance industry. Good analytical skills with a good sense of risk selection are essential.

Action oriented and customer oriented, with good communication and teamwork skills, you will liaise with Legal and Compliance teams to report suspicious transactions found during daily underwriting processes. The ability to communicate in English, both actively and passively, is required.
