Key Account Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Key Account Manager to lead our sales efforts for POP (Plating on Plastics) and DBM (Decorative Based Metals Coating) processes.
As the successful candidate, you will play a pivotal role in connecting our innovative products and solutions to customers in industries such as automotive, electronics, and consumer goods. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse range of clients, providing technical guidance, solving complex challenges, and ensuring the successful implementation of POP and DBM processes tailored to their needs.
Job Scope and Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding the customer base for POP and DBM products.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Build strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Provide technical advice and solutions to customers, ensuring the effective implementation of POP/DBM processes.
- Conduct product trials, troubleshooting, and process optimization at customer sites.
- Act as a liaison between customers and the technical/R&D teams to address specific requirements and challenges.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, setting clear goals and performance expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D and production, to ensure customer needs are met effectively.
- Provide regular feedback and training to team members to enhance their technical knowledge and sales skills.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Analyze sales performance data and prepare regular reports for management.
- Develop pricing strategies and negotiate contracts to maximize profitability.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical sales or a related role in the plating industry, with a focus on POP and DBM processes.
- Strong technical knowledge of POP/DBM plating processes, materials, and applications.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and building customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
