Business Development Executive

A global manufacturer and supplier of additives and specialty ingredients, ranging from food ingredients, coating and ink, personal care, animal feed, and more.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Identify and develop new customers/business partners and built a stable sales platform that is profitable and sustainable for the Personal Care & Cosmetics segment.
- Responsible for the complete sales cycle activities, including client prospecting, product presentation, sampling, pricing, payment collection, sales support, market planning, and reporting.
- Meet sales targets (KPIs) set by the company.
- Work closely with Malaysia and HQ team members including constantly feedback surveys, monitoring market trends, competition's products/pricing info, customer preferences, identifying new products/target customers and action plans to generate product demand.
- Provide support and after-sales services including problem resolution and expert advice to strengthen customer relationship.
- Visit and establish productive, professional relationships with target key customers.
- Coordinate marketing and sales activities, including sales visit, exhibition participation, visit with Team Manager or Sales Director.
- Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
- At least 3-5 years of working experience in manufacture sales/distribution in the Personal Care industry with a proven track record.
- Proficiency in English (written & verbal).
- Strong communication skills, aggressive salesperson character, and interpersonal skills with a pleasant personality.
- Highly motivated, self-starter and passionate towards the ingredients business.
- Knowledge in MS Office.
