As a Channel Partner Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing channel initiatives, marketing, and sales support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and continuously monitor channel performance. Reporting to Sales Manager, oversee all developing and maintaining a highly effective sales channel strategy for Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Philippine’s order to improve ABB market penetration and realize growth aspirations.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Defining and implementing the channel sales strategy and budget and ensures regular follow-up. Contributing to the identification of appropriate channels, providing channel strategy input for the sales team and helps to harmonize the market sales and marketing plans
- Defining key targets (e.g., volume, prices, mix) and ensures these are achieved for the channel in the specified market. Creates detailed business plans, implement with regular follow-up
- Contributing to critical sales and key frame agreements negotiations. Creating offers and proposals for channel partners in line with broader sales offers
- Identifying and evaluating channel partners together with the Channel / Sales Manager. Regularly reporting progress against channel strategy, plans and budgets. Conducting analyses on channel activity and takes ownership for solving problems identified
- Collaborating and coordinating sales and marketing efforts that require channel/segment partner participation. Ensuring and implementing the planned communication, promotion, and training activities in the channel/segment
- Evaluating and certifying Channel partners. Ensuring training for Channel and ABB personnel in aspects of marketing analysis, market segmentation, demand creation techniques, channel models and cost structures, effective channel program development and channel metrics
- Supporting driving strategic partnerships, developing personal relationships with partners, customers and other decisionmakers
- Monitoring client financial status and reports any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams. Responsible for identifying and managing risk relating to contract agreements and prices across customers/ channels/segments
**Your background**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in sales especially managing channel/ distributor business
- Knowledge in Automation and Digital Solutions for Process Industries like F&B, Datacenters, Mining, Cement, Metals and Pulp and Paper
- Market understanding in Indonesia is a must
- Sales and marketing skills needed
