Requisition ID: 34902- Job Location(s): Jakarta, IDDanfoss Power Solution is a leader in the mobile and industrial fluid power industries with components that is commonly used in the construction & mining, oil & gas and marine, agricultural, discrete manufacturing and processing industries.
We are in search of Technical Support Engineer. This position utilizes his/her experience and knowledge on hardware, software and field support in executing our project works in Automation; Electrical; Instrumentation & Electro-hydraulics in Industrial Automation & Process Automation and to support our road map in iIOT & SCADA as well contribute to Digitalization.
This position is Jakarta, Indonesia based for South-East Asia region and reporting to Technical Support Manager.
**Responsibilities**:
- To provide field support for Automation, Electrical, Instrumentation & Electro-hydraulics as well as ALL PLC program in IEC 61131 environment.
- To provide field support in Automations work in ALL software used for Visual Display HMI (Galileo); SCADA (Visual Designer and/or AVEVA) and communication/control of equipments using Modbus, CanBus, GPIB, Telnet, FTP etc. As well as systems commissioning in accordance to customers’ specification and compliance to regulatory requirements
- To provide feedback obtained from job site for continuous improvement and targeting 100/0 goal and Zero CONC
- To provide technical training and guidance to customer locations through on-site training, advise on correct procedures and product usage.
- To provide technical support to all stakeholders, customers, internal team etc.
- To promote customer satisfaction through team-based problem solving.
- To assist in ensuring Engineering & Project team to get timely Signed Off Documents (BA Wet Run Commissioning to Take Over Test Report) and lead PIC with Local team progress claims billing and handing over project works.
- To Act as First Window in addressing Customer Complaints and Trouble Shootings for AEI & SCADA (including AVEVA Edge and Insight - New* even during off office hours, weekends)
- To act as Gate Keeper for All Final Programs (Visual Display and PLC) used & modified in projects. Maintain database and audit of programs stored regularly in Local Lean Solution Partner.
- To provide technical support to our Local Partners & Systems Integrators on trouble shooting.
- To involve in day-to-day software patching in ensuring confidentiality to maintain programing Build Block within IP rights of DPS Industrial | PSS BU | PacSys Group
- Other responsibilities to be determined as needed by supervisor and 2nd level supervisor.
**Background & Skills**:
- Programming Skills in Omron, Modicon, Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc or similar PLC in IEC 61131 as well as knowledge of Window Server and IIS and Ms SQL.
- Experience and knowledge in Electrical Design, Project Engineering, AutoCAD Drafting
- Familiar with Wonderware, Citect, Intellution, Proface or other Industrial Graphics Software and Good UI and visual design sense.
- Must have passion and enthusiastic about PLC programming.
- High Mobility expectation for site commissioning of new equipment and troubleshooting of failures as well work well under pressure & able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Ability to report precisely on professional format for stakeholders.
- Able to identify areas of improvement, development and implement solutions.
- Good conflict management and negotiations skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
