COUNTRY MANAGER for PT Raffles Medika Indonesia, based in Surabaya, Indonesia
- Manage the business unit of PT. Raffles Medika Indonesia (RMI) as an extension of Hospital Marketing division to promote Raffles Hospital healthcare services in Indonesia
- Reporting to Director / General Manager
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(A) MARKETING
- Strategise and plan the expansion of marketing channels to achieve growth in patient revenue
- Support marketing team in presentation of Raffles Hospital healthcare services to corporates and strategic clients
- Set up key performance indicators and marketing workplan
- Review marketing team weekly report and follow up action plan
- Facilitate operational issues and difficulties encountered by marketing staff with both internal and external stakeholders
- Supervise, evaluate marketing events and follow up actions of marketing team
- Plan setup of patient liaison offices in secondary cities to increase patient revenue
- Manage the budget of marketing activities, trip and media placement
- Identify potential media partners to put up media placement, assist with the translations of marketing collaterals and media placement of health advertorial in Bahasa
- Develop tactical promotion of Raffles Hospital services on a quarterly basis
- Build networking with business chambers and key opinion leader
- Keep abreast with the competitor's development and healthcare regulations in Indonesia
- Ensure highest customer satisfaction of services rendered by marketing team
- Manage budget, cash flow and verify the supporting documents for payment and ensure no double accounting
- Authorise payment to vendors and associates via internet banking
- Verify monthly tax document (staff income, rental and withholding tax) for payment, reporting via e-tax system and submission of documents to tax authority
- Ensure RMI's financial workflow processes comply to corporate finance policy
- Monitor Indonesia Aging Report on a fortnightly basis to ensure complete payment by corporates
- Monitor monthly payment of administrative fee, retainer fee of patient liaison offices and yearly incentive due to associates
- Coordinate with Finance HQ and Tax Consultant on annual reporting of corporate tax (every April) and VAT payment
- Verify the purchase requisition of capital assets, budgeted and non-budgeted expenditures
- Ensure Jamsostek and Asuransi Bumida are updated on additional staff and resignees (if any) for the computation of monthly payment
- Prepare staff salary, Jamsostek and Asuransi Bumida working sheet for Finance HQ
- Monitor petty cash fund and claims reimbursement every month
- Renew and negotiate office rental lease period
- Submit bank resolution and relevant document on changes of payment authoriser
(C) HUMAN RESOURCE
- Interview, select and recruit RMI staff
- Monitor the necessary passes as required by foreign workers in Indonesia
- Plan staff recreational, birthday celebration, annual breakfasting dinner and team building activities
- Evaluate staff performance every 6-months and conduct annual appraisal
- Understand the local manpower regulations
(D) LEGAL
- Renew company domicile document annually
- Ensure compliance of statutory regulations
- Upkeep all original official documentation filing
- Liaise with company legal to update Article of Association (AKTA) changes on directorship (if any)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
(A) EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or management from reputable university. Medical degree is an advantage
- Minimum 8 years relevant working experience in healthcare or hospitality industry and/or minimum of 3 years experience in private/government practice for those with medical degree
- Overseas working experience is an advantage
- Proficient in both English and Bahasa languages (verbal and written)
- Ability to engage and develop strong network with key stakeholders
- Strong perseverance and patience in managing local business and working environment
- Strong network of medical associates and clients in key cities of Jakarta, Surabaya and secondary cities in Java, Sumatera, Kalimantan and Sulawesi
