In this position you will…

Drive timely research of forecasts and actuals to allow real time purchase or disposal of assets in an efficient and cost-effective manner, while supporting the demand planning managers with their daily activities.

You will be responsible for…
  • Managing demand planning process including updating relevant data source and coordinating and cooperating with the global supply chain team.
  • Reviewing historical switch frequency and its trends, researching demand drivers, customer propensity in terms of device mapping, preparing forecast data, developing statistical forecast models, and evaluating forecast results.
  • Coordinating cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
  • Working collaboratively with Sales, Finance and Customer Experience to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
  • Managing local article master and SKU creation as well as End of Life of our product range in alignment with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Overseeing the monthly liquidation process of the stock excess.
  • Compiling and issuing weekly and monthly KPI reports and ad-hoc requests for similar reports.
  • Releasing the stock-to-order on a regular basis and recommending purchase order placement.
  • Assisting and supporting in developing new ways of working as the business expands.

You will require the following qualifications and skills
  • Background in the mobile device sector – desirable.
  • Strong communication skills (including English) and ability to work independently - essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a demand planning/forecasting/Supply chain role– essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields - desirable.
  • Experience of working with different geographical markets – desirable.

Armed with coordination and cooperation spirit as a team member - essential.
