Purpose of the Job To provide a professional, welcoming, and efficient first point of contact for all visitors and callers, ensuring a positive and seamless experience. The Receptionist will also manage the lobby area, provide administrative support, and maintain security protocols. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Visitor Reception: Greet all visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Verify visitor credentials and issue visitor badges. Notify staff of visitor arrivals promptly. Call Management: Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate department or individual. Handle general inquiries and provide accurate information. Administrative Support: Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. Maintain a tidy and organized reception area. Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, including booking conference rooms. Security: Monitor and control access to the building. Ensure visitors sign in and out as required. Report any suspicious activity or security concerns to the appropriate personnel. Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to visitors, clients, and staff. Address and resolve any issues or complaints courteously and efficiently. General Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the smooth operation of the office.
