PERSOL APAC is currently assisting one of our clients in Korean Furniture Company in finding great talent as a
Merchandiser Assistant Manager ~ Manager
with the requirement as follows:

Working location:
Jakarta

Job Responsibility:

Lead and manage all merchandising operations, starting from product concept and development through to final shipment to buyers.

Serve as the key liaison between buyers and internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction, smooth workflow, and profitability.

Formulate short-term and long-term merchandising strategies aimed at improving operational efficiency, increasing profit margins, and expanding order capacity.

Review product costing structures and pricing strategies to ensure they meet company margin objectives.

Oversee T&A (Time and Action) planning and guarantee that all product development and production timelines are successfully executed.

Lead and maintain communication with buyers while coordinating closely with production, QA/QC, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution.

Monitor team performance, provide coaching and development support, and identify areas for operational and skill improvement.

Prepare reports and analytical insights to support senior management in strategic decision-making.

Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.


• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in garment export merchandising, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.


• Demonstrated track record in handling international buyers such as Walmart, Amazon, or similar global clients.


• Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation abilities, with professional proficiency in English.


• Comprehensive understanding of garment supply chain processes, including costing, material sourcing, production, and logistics/shipping workflows.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with ERP/MRP systems.


• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
