About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Merchandiser to join our growing team at PT. Gaoshi Building Material Technology. As a Sales Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and enhancing the visibility of our products in retail stores across Tangerang Banten. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for growth and development within our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Implement and maintain effective merchandising strategies to optimise product presentation and visibility in assigned retail outlets
  2. Liaise with store managers to ensure our products are displayed prominently and in accordance with company guidelines
  3. Monitor stock levels and replenish products as needed to maintain optimal inventory
  4. Gather and report on key sales data and customer feedback to inform our marketing and product strategies
  5. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and in-store activities
  6. Identify and address any issues or challenges related to product placement, availability or competition
  7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all merchandising activities

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sales Merchandiser or in a similar retail/customer-facing role
  2. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work independently
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with store personnel
  4. Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  5. Familiarity with retail merchandising best practices and trends
  6. Good understanding of consumer behaviour and product placement strategies
  7. Proficient in data analysis and reporting
