Role Description:

This is a freelance/project-based contract role for a Product Designer specializing in Merchandise. The role involves designing unique and impactful merchandise products that align with the organization's mission and brand identity. Responsibilities include conducting user research, applying design thinking methodologies, and producing creative and functional visual designs. This hybrid position requires availability to work in-person in Tangerang while allowing for remote work flexibility.

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with our internal teams (sales, production, marketing) to create new product designs that fit market needs
  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to develop competitive, innovative products
  • Create detailed drawings, renderings, and design specifications
  • Manage design timelines and ensure high-quality project delivery
  • Ensure all designs meet sustainability standards and reflect Liberty Society's brand values

Requirements:

  • Experience in product design & development (preferably in B2B manufacturing or creative industries)
  • Strong skills in design tools/CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Adobe Illustrator)
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Passion for sustainability and innovation
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects independently
  • Must include a portfolio of previous product design work
