Rewards Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and evaluate compensation and benefits programs, including STIP and LTIP.
- Conduct compensation analysis, market benchmarking, and scenario modeling to support strategic decisions.
- Lead job evaluation processes (Mercer IPE, Hays, or Korn Ferry) and ensure internal consistency and job equity.
- Partner with Finance, HRBPs, and senior management to align reward structures with business objectives.
- Develop and manage compensation policies while maintaining strong governance and compliance standards.
- Produce reports, dashboards, and insights using HR analytics tools to support decision-making.
- Oversee annual compensation cycle processes: salary review, bonus calculations, and incentive administration.
- Prepare clear communication materials related to reward programs for management and employees.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations, taxation rules, and internal company standards.
- Initiate and lead improvement projects related to compensation systems and process digitalization.
- Collaborate with site HR teams (if applicable) to support compensation structures relevant to mining operations

Core Competencies
- Strong knowledge of total rewards, compensation strategy, and incentive program design (STIP & LTIP).
- Advanced analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of job evaluation methodologies (e.g., Mercer IPE, Hays, Korn Ferry).
- Business acumen and financial literacy to align incentives with company performance.
- Stakeholder management and ability to communicate complex reward concepts clearly.
- High attention to detail, governance mindset, and strong data accuracy.
- Experience working in fast-paced, evolving organizational environments.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (advanced modeling, pivot tables, macros beneficial).
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar).
- Ability to build dashboards/reports using HR analytics tools (Power BI/Tableau is a plus).
- Understanding of regulatory requirements related to compensation and taxation.
