Description

As a Head of R&D, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading product development projects from concept to commercialisation.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with market needs.
  • Conducting research to identify new product opportunities and enhancements.
  • Overseeing formulation development and testing to meet quality standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in the FMCG industry.
  • Managing budgets and timelines for R&D projects.
  • Providing technical expertise to resolve production or quality challenges.
  • Monitoring market trends to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness.

Profile

A successful Head of R&D should have:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Food Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in product development within the FMCG sector.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong technical skills in Engineering & Manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
