The Role

As the Head of Research & Development, you will be pivotal in driving innovation and delivering new product solutions that meet evolving market needs. You will lead R&D initiatives from concept to execution, working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful outcomes.



Job Description:
  • Lead and manage R&D initiatives to develop innovative products and process improvements.
  • Oversee engineering and manufacturing collaboration to align with technical and commercial objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and consumer insights to uncover opportunities for product innovation.
  • Ensure all projects meet regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Allocate resources effectively across projects to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Present key findings, progress updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

 
Required Qualifications:
  • A degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related technical field.
  • Proven track record in leading R&D functions within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong technical expertise in product development, engineering processes, and manufacturing workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • Effective leadership with the ability to drive collaboration across departments.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
