Head of Application Group

Position Summary

Be a force for good with Nestlé Indonesia by playing the role as Head of Application Group you will be responsible to manage the development and introduction of new products, processes and packaging within factory.To manage the techical projects, support factory and marketing in terms of projects / initiatives related to product, processes and technologies.

A day of life of

• Co-ordinate at factory level, lead Application Group team for all work relating to products, process and packaging Innovation & Renovation from the development up to industrialisation; setting time table leading to launches/changes.
• Develop Application Group team for factory specific product, process and packaging expertise.
• Drive Application Group team for factory specific product, process and packaging best practices.
• Guardian for technical confidential documents
• Assist on raw materials, supplier, co-manufacturing/co-packing selection / assessment
• Assist factory on technical matters on the product and process concerned
• Product / process know-how transfer to other functions in the factory
• Work closely and proactively with Manufacturing Services Department / Packaging -Head Office
• Strictly comply to all internal and external Safety, Health and Environment regulations and / or requirements
• To be assigned to odd function from time to time as the need arises
• Ensure succession plans and development - coaching of direct reports (where applicable) including development of specific training.
• Utilise the Nestlé technology asset and supplier expertise to support I&R programme.
• Act as the link between R&D and Factory Operations, and ensure product and process knowledge is maintained and developed within the AG.
• Participate in Expert Networks and maintain contact with other AG within product category at least to share best practices.

What will make you successful ?

• Technical education background (Chemical Engineering, Food Technology or Science) complemented by a solid food industry experience within the product category.
• Factory experience preferably as production first line manager
• Experience in R&D positions, environments (Centre, Region, Market, expatriation, mission, projects).
• Attend and actively participate in R & D seminars and Product mastership workshop
• Proven track record in delivering results in working with cross-functional teams
