To strengthen our R&D capabilities, we are looking for a visionary Head of Product Development (R&D) to lead our formulation and packaging development initiatives.


Position: Head of Product Development (R&D)

Location: Jakarta / Head Office

Employment Type: Full-time


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage formulation development for new and existing pharmaceutical products.
  • Oversee packaging development to ensure product stability, compliance, and market appeal.
  • Manage end-to-end project management.
  • Collaborate closely with Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams to ensure timely product launch.
  • Evaluate new technologies, materials, and formulation approaches to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure all R&D activities comply with GMP, BPOM, and company quality standards.
  • Develop and mentor the R&D team to foster innovation and technical excellence.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (mandatory; Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical formulation and product development (min 10 years of experience).
  • Strong knowledge of formulation design, pre-formulation studies, stability testing, and scale-up processes.
  • Experience in packaging material development and compatibility studies.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
