Role Summary

The
Country Manager – Indonesia
will be responsible for leading the end-to-end commercial and operational performance of the Indonesia business. This role carries full P&L ownership and requires a senior leader who can set strategy, build a high-performing organization, and drive sustainable growth in a dynamic market environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall Indonesia country business, with accountability for revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
  • Define and execute the country commercial strategy, aligned with regional and global priorities.
  • Own full P&L management, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing commercial organization, including sales, marketing, and operational functions.
  • Strengthen and manage relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners across Indonesia.
  • Drive organizational capability and operational discipline during a post-carve-out growth phase, including governance, processes, and structure.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regional leadership, providing regular performance updates and market insights.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA or Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in senior commercial or general management roles within medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Proven experience in a Country Manager, General Manager, or equivalent leadership role, with full P&L responsibility.
  • Strong track record in building, scaling, or transforming a business, particularly in growth or transition environments.
  • Deep understanding of the Indonesian healthcare market, including key stakeholders, customers, and distribution models.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop senior teams, with a strong performance-driven culture.
  • Excellent strategic, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Confident communicator with experience engaging regional or global stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
