Country Manager

Status Pro Sport is a one-stop football marketing agency for professional football players, trainers, and supporting professionals. Our team consists of (former) players, experienced entrepreneurs, and fully dedicated professionals to support our clients through their entire journey. We represent our clients' interests to help them achieve maximum results, both athletic and in business. Our head office is located in the Netherlands, where we have been operating for over 10 years. Since 2020, we also work from Indonesia.

As Country Manager (Indonesia) at Status Pro Sport, you will act as the senior on-site leader, fully responsible for the day-to-day management, operational performance, and people leadership of the Indonesia organization. Representing the founder and HQ locally, you will have full authority to make operational decisions, lead the Jakarta team, and ensure alignment with global standards, vision, and strategic direction. This is a priority and mission-critical role that sits at the core of the agency's ability to scale and succeed commercially.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary on-site leader in Indonesia, representing Managing Director and the founder from HQ in all day-to-day operations.
• Lead and manage a team of approximately 30+ employees across Sales, Marketing, Creative, Operations, HR, and Finance.
• Hold full accountability for operational performance, execution quality, team effectiveness, and internal delivery.
• Implement and enforce clear structures, SOPs, workflows, and accountability frameworks across all departments.
• Ensure alignment of all local operations with HQ standards, policies, and long-term vision. Translate strategic direction from HQ into clear, executable operational plans.
• Drive smooth cross-departmental collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Creative, and Operations teams.
• Establish, monitor, and report on operational KPIs related to performance, efficiency, delivery timelines, and people productivity.
• Lead people management, performance reviews, team development, and organizational structuring.
• Identify operational gaps, execution bottlenecks, and organizational risks, and resolve them decisively.
• Ensure operational readiness to support commercial growth, partnerships, and international projects.
• Act as the main escalation point for internal decision-making and operational issues in Indonesia.
• Build a disciplined, accountable, and high-performing local organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in country management, operations leadership, general management, or senior operational roles.
• Proven experience leading multi-functional teams and managing full operational responsibility at country or business-unit level.
• Strong background in operations management, people leadership, and organizational structuring.
• Experience working with HQ–local office structures and implementing group-level standards locally.
• High level of independence, ownership, and decision-making capability.
  • Strong understanding of performance management, KPIs, and execution discipline.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on, execution-driven mindset with strategic awareness.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, dynamic, and international environments.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
