Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished
Country Manager / Managing Director
to lead and scale our Indonesia business across telecommunications and digital services. This executive will hold
full P&L ownership
, act as the
senior-most representative in-country
, and drive sustainable revenue growth through strategic partnerships with major telcos, digital wallets, and ecosystem players.
The ideal candidate brings
20+ years of leadership experience

CXO-level relationships within Indonesian telcos

entrepreneurial, builder mindset
capable of growing the business from strategy to execution while navigating a complex regulatory and competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Country & P&L Leadership
- Own and manage
full country P&L
, including revenue growth, cost control, forecasting, and profitability. - Define and execute the
Indonesia market strategy
aligned with global objectives, local market dynamics, and long-term value creation. - Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing local leadership team across sales, account management, delivery, and operations.
- Act as the legal and commercial representative of the business in Indonesia, ensuring governance and compliance.
CXO-Level Client & Ecosystem Engagement
- Maintain and expand
trusted relationships with C-suite and Board-level stakeholders
at major Indonesian telcos, digital wallets, and strategic partners. - Position the company as a
strategic partner
, not just a solution provider, supporting clients' digital transformation, engagement, and monetization agendas. - Lead executive-level negotiations, strategic partnerships, and complex, high-value commercial agreements.
- Leverage personal industry network to unlock new enterprises, government, and ecosystem opportunities.
Growth, Strategy & New Business Development
- Identify, develop, and execute
new revenue streams
across digital engagement, data, fintech, and adjacent telco services. - Drive large-scale deals, strategic RFPs/RFIs, joint ventures, and long-term framework agreements.
- Anticipate market shifts, regulatory changes, and competitive threats to proactively shape go-to-market strategies.
- Act as an internal entrepreneur—testing, validating, and scaling new business models in Indonesia.
Delivery Oversight & Value Realization
- Ensure successful end-to-end delivery of solutions in collaboration with product technology, and regional/global teams.
- Oversee client success metrics, adoption, ROI realization, and long-term account expansion.
- Provide structured feedback into product and platform roadmaps based on market and customer insights.
Market & Thought Leadership
- Serve as a visible industry leader representing the company at conferences, industry forums, and with regulators.
- Maintain deep understanding of Indonesian telco economics, digital ecosystems, and regulatory frameworks.
- Influence internal global strategy with market intelligence and local innovation insights.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 20+ years of professional experience
in telecommunications, digital services, technology, or adjacent industries. - Proven experience as
Country Manager, Managing Director, General Manager, or equivalent senior leadership role
. - Demonstrated
full P&L ownership
and consistent delivery of revenue growth and profitability. - Deep, established
CXO-level relationships
across Indonesian telcos, digital wallets, and ecosystem partners. - Strong track record of closing and managing
large, complex, multi-year enterprise deals
. - Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building or scaling businesses, products, or markets.
- Strong strategic, commercial, and financial acumen.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field;
MBA or Executive Education preferred
. - Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
