Job Summary
PT NGFS INDO NUSA is seeking an experienced B2B Sales / Business Development professional from the Freight Forwarding industry to grow our logistics business in Indonesia and Singapore markets.
This role is NOT suitable for retail, FMCG, insurance, property, pharmacy, cosmetic, or shop sales backgrounds.
We are looking for a self-driven logistics sales professional who already understands freight forwarding, has existing industry contacts, and can bring in active business, not someone to be trained from zero.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively acquire new B2B clients in freight forwarding and logistics.
- Generate sales from existing customer contacts / industry network.
- Sell international freight forwarding services including air freight, sea freight, ship spares, and cross-border logistics.
- Prepare and present commercial proposals to shippers, manufacturers, forwarders, and logistics buyers.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitor activity.
- Represent the company professionally in meetings, calls, and networking events.
Mandatory Requirements (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)
Applicants MUST meet ALL of the following:
Minimum 2–3 years B2B sales experience in freight forwarding / logistics ONLY
Proven experience selling air freight / sea freight / logistics services
Existing customer database or active industry contacts
Ability to generate sales within the first 1–3 months
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
Retail / shop / FMCG / pharmacy / insurance / property / cosmetic sales experience will NOT be considered.
Preferred (Strong Advantage)
- Experience handling manufacturing, ship spares, trading, or international freight customers
- Familiar with Indonesia–Singapore logistics
- CRM or sales reporting experience
- Independent, target-driven, and results-focused mindset
Performance Expectation
This is a performance-based sales role.
The successful candidate is expected to:
- Actively develop new accounts
- Deliver measurable sales results
- Build long-term, repeat customers
This role is not suitable for candidates who require long training periods or are new to logistics sales.
