Senior Project Manager – (specialized handle Fintech apps)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Project Management, or related field.

  • 7–10 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years in financial/fintech projects.

  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or ACP) are a plus.

- Able to communicate in English as there will be expat stakeholder as well

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of financial applications (e.g., mobile banking, e-wallet, core banking, digital lending).

  • Knowledge of financial regulations and security standards (OJK, BI, ISO

  • Able to review technical documents, business processes, and user requirements.

  • Experience handling project risks and managing vendors.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership with experience managing cross-functional teams.

  • Good communication and stakeholder management.

  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning & Execution:

  2. Create project plans, timelines, and allocate resources.

  3. Manage projects from start to finish using Agile or Waterfall.

  4. Team & Stakeholder Coordination:

  5. Work closely with developers, BAs, QA, and UX teams.

  6. Act as the main point of contact between business and tech teams.

  7. Report progress regularly to stakeholders.

  8. Risk & Issue Management:

  9. Identify project risks and develop solutions early.

  10. Handle issues to avoid escalation.

  11. Documentation & Evaluation:

  12. Maintain project documentation and track scope changes.

  13. Conduct post-project reviews for improvement.

  14. Compliance & Security:

  15. Ensure all work meets financial regulations and system security standards.

  16. Coordinate with legal, compliance, and audit teams when needed.
