Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years (8 or more preferred) in Financial Services firms, with 2 years experience as Head of Division.
  • Substantive and active connections to financial industry regulators and players Knowledge of legal, product and operations best practices in the wealth management, investment banking or capital market industries
  • Motivated personality with excellent communication skills, must be able to effectively coordinate across high-level stakeholders
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving and organizational track record with ability to manage shifting stakeholder priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Result-oriented and time-conscious in execution. Enjoys taking final ownership of key business projects.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Job Resposibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for achieving key project objectives (creating new businesses, operational licensing, etc.).
  • Identify and determine creative solutions to complex project roadblocks (M&A, organizational overhaul, etc.).
  • Use knowledge of business administration and finance to help enhance the overall output of the business project.
  • Assist in defining regulatory framework supportive to our vision/mission, leveraging both official and personal relations within the industry, regulating bodies and associations to ensure Pluang stays abreast and ahead of competition.
  • Identify and assess threats to top business projects , put plans in place for if things go wrong and decide how to avoid, reduce or transfer project risk. Identify, report, and resolve workplace or interpersonal barriers to department performance.
  • Provide guidance and development to managers on best practices.
  • Maintain relationships with regulators (OJK, Bappebti, etc.), key value chain players (exchanges, clearing houses, etc.), global / regional partners (prime brokers, securities, etc.) and vendors (IT system, consultants, etc.) to realize Pluang product vision and mission
  • Analyzing gaps in regulation/market/competitive landscape, identifying opportunity, formulizing strategy, developing mutually beneficial schema, integrating products, troubleshooting, and conducting quarterly business reviews
