Role Description

We are looking for a Finance and Accountant Officer to join our team in Jakarta. This role is responsible for managing financial records, handling daily transactions, preparing financial reports, and supporting our branches in other countries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and understands basic accounting and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily financial transactions, including preparing vouchers, entering data into the system (as a maker), and organizing financial documents for record-keeping.
  • Coordinate with our branches in Indonesia, Tanzania and Kyrgyzstan on financial and accounting matters to ensure smooth operations across countries.
  • Prepare and review financial reports to make sure all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Support the company in analyzing financial data and trends to help with decision-making.
  • Make sure the company follows all financial rules and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit tax reports and stay updated with local government tax requirements and regulations.
  • Prepare monthly pay slips for employees accurately and on time.
  • Help create and monitor the company budget and forecast future financial performance.

  • Keep financial systems, policies, and procedures updated and well-documented.

  • Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a must.

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency in Financial Statements, Accounting and Tax.
  • Experience with Ms. Excel and Finance and Accounting Software (experience with Zoho is an advantage).
  • Strong Analytical Skills and Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to coordinate with international teams and work across different time zones (e.g., Tanzania, Kyrgyzstan).
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
  • High level of integrity, honesty, and commitment to ethical standards.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, responsibility, and accountability in handling financial data and confidential information.
