Job Vacancy – Senior Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Accountant who is experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive to be assigned at one of our clients — an insurance company located in South Jakarta. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising accounting operations, reviewing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards during a 3-month placement as part of our Accounting Services project.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting activities and ensure accurate financial records.

• Review and finalize journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly financial statements.

• Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.

• Coordinate with the client's finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Support internal and external audit processes, including preparation of supporting documents.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies or accounting issues in a timely manner.

• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff when needed.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and reporting deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in accounting or finance, preferably with exposure to insurance or service industries.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliation, and accounting standards (PSAK/IFRS).

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Accurate, SAP, or similar).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with client teams.

• Available for a 3-month temporary placement at the client's office.
