Overview

Indosat, a reputable telecommunication company in Indonesia, is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of AVP-Business Development. This position plays a critical role in driving business growth and expansion by developing and executing strategic plans to acquire new customers and increase revenue.

Job Description

As an AVP-Business Development, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver successful sales campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Planning: Develop comprehensive account plans that align with Indosat's business objectives and customer needs.
  • Industrial Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and industry developments to provide valuable insights to customers.
  • Fact Finding: Conduct thorough research to understand customer pain points and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Business Initiatives: Identify opportunities to drive revenue growth and cost efficiency through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring seamless communication and effective issue resolution.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or relevant master's degree can be advantageous.
  • Certifications in project management and business analysis are preferred.
  • Specialized knowledge in specific industries or sectors.

Experience:

  • Work experience as an Account Manager, Business Development, Business Analyst, or Product Manager in Solution Services or from reputable consulting services in Technology.
  • Work experience within vertical industries as an employee for at least 8 years.

Skills:

  • BD Skill set (65% Business, 35% Technical)
  • Broad relationships with private sectors, SOEs, and government
  • Updated technology trends, especially in TechCo
  • Experienced in project delivery
  • Multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Able to drive revenue growth while ensuring seamless collaboration among stakeholders
