**General Description**

The CMO is responsible for developing and enhancing the company’s brand, profile, and reputation and to ensure that AJMI’s strengths are understood by our target market and the public at large. CMO will develop and implement the public relations and corporate communication strategies in accordance with AJMI’s annual business plan as well as to be responsible for developing and implementing innovative brand communication and sales support focused digital marketing project in relation to emphasis on e-marketing and new media technologies. CMO will lead and manage the analytics function for the company.

This position will manage USD 1.7M annual budget to support the company growth.

**Responsibilities**:
**Strategy and Planning**
- Understand AJMI’s overall vision and customer experience strategy to develop and refine strategy of the Marketing team; including the short and long-term plans
- Develop marketing strategies that enhance AJMI brand, profile, and reputation
- Produce brand related marketing collaterals
- Initiate effective corporate branding activities
- Manage digital marketing and social media
- Act as a Corporate Brand gate keeper to ensure the consistency of messaging, brand/logo compliance, and trademark protection
- Organize PR campaigns, media functions, corporate / sponsorship / CSR events
- Work closely with the media agencies to develop PR concept and brand building strategy
- Create and maintain the overall customer experience, integrating capabilities from both internal and external, to create a consistent, cohesive experience platform
- Serve as the primary contact person for service related issues and opportunities and interface with the customer centricity committee to ensure strategy and execution alignment
- Develop the customer experience model, overall customer experience strategy and implementation plan
- Represent client centricity initiatives
- Customer Care / Net Promotor Score Program: Build and manage a professional customer care program with various customer care activities / projects in coordination with relevant departments to provide excellent customer service. Increase customer satisfaction and create customer delight leading to high customer loyalty/retention and customer referrals
- Develop the customer experience model, overall customer experience strategy and implementation plan
- Drive / lead AJMI level advancement and commercialization of analytics solutions
- To be responsible for the development of online marketing campaigns, using the range of media techniques and technologies that are currently available and those which may emerge in future.
- Manage and develop social media channels to build a new database of prospects, as well as engage the existing customers and sales force

**Growth and Financials**
- Plan and manage budget allocated to the Marketing Department and ensure effective use of the budget allocated
- Manages expenses and adequately controls resources to ensure successful operations within established budget, productivity and efficiency standards. Leverages systems capabilities, data and metrics/reports to analyze trends and improve organizational and process performance
- Coordinate team activities in order to ensure the achievement of team productivity

**Leadership and People Management**
- Through leadership behaviors, create and maintain an energetic, positive, and collaborative culture
- Coach and provide career development advice to team members
- Track employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews
- Responsible the development of the staff, and establishing succession planning for the leadership roles in the team

**Personal Development**
- Adopt AJMI culture of professionalism, integrity, effectiveness, dynamic, and customer centric attitude contributing to an internal environment of teamwork and promote positive brand image to Customers
- Undertake relevant training and personal development course as mapped by HR Department
- Comply with any specific responsibilities necessary as outlined by HR Department and ensure keep up to date with developments in these areas

**Continuous Improvement**
- Analyze reports that monitor Department’s key drivers, and measure of performance for the purposes of improving performance, and control of the various processes
- Actively participate in the improvement projects and provide expertise on customer centric

**Knowledge/Skills/Competencies/Education**:

- University degree with minimum of 15 years of experience in Marketing
