Working with the Marsh Indonesia, regional Marsh functions and Marsh stakeholders, the principle responsibility of the Indonesia CSCO is to drive New Business development to ultimately assist Marsh Indonesia in achieving it’s country New Business targets. The CSCO is expected to contribute to the Sales strategy, offering insights into opportunity areas and solutions for clients. Whilst not the primary focus of the role, the CSCO is also expected to provide strategic assistance and direction to certain legacy account and future accounts, whilst also assisting a smooth transition to the servicing teams.

With a tenacious ability to drive results by being creative and innovative in all they do combined with exemplary team working and rigorous attention to detail, they deliver positive outcomes for both Marsh and prospective clients.

**Responsibility**
- Identification, engagement, and active pursuit of prospects that may meet Marsh’s ideal client profile, with a preference for C-suite & key decision makers. Guiding the prospects through the Sales Cycle until ultimately obtaining their appointment.
- Partners with various local Divisional teams, regional Specialty teams, and Placement teams to utilise appropriate resources for major prospects.
- Build a strong understanding of our solutions portfolio, a deep understanding of the customer value proposition, and our key differentiators.
- Maintain at the front-line of internal product development to address the changing needs of Marsh’s potential prospects.
- Contribution to the development of the country Growth Strategy.
- Establishes “best practices” amongst the organisation in regards to developing approach strategies for C-suite level individuals, as well as providing input regarding style, content and execution of pitches.
- Proactively identify, build and manage strategic and senior level relationships, both internally and externally.
- Close collaboration with Indonesia Sales Leader in the rollout of regional sales and marketing strategies on a local level.
- Engagement with and promotion of regional sales resources (IMPACT, Business Intelligence Group etc.) on a local level.
- Ensuring that own sales activity is accurately maintained on MarshForce
- Act as a strategic director on certain “priority” accounts specifically on Mining & Power industry), being a key senior touch point for the client and providing direction to the Marsh servicing team. As and when needed to step into more day-to-day activities.
- For existing clients that you are actively involved with, systematically nurturing and delivering X- Sell opportunities, extending, broadening and deepening Marsh (P&C - Specialties, specifically on Mining & Power industry) / MMC engagement with the client
- Work with servicing teams to produce handover plans and ensure the transition period for new clients is as painless as possible.
- Maintaining an active relationship within the Indonesian insurance industry and leveraging your network when needed to achieve required placement results.

**Experience and values**
- Strong experience in sales with demonstrable experience of successfully hitting demanding sales targets.
- Excellent communicator (in Bahasa and English) and interpersonal skills.
- Clear understanding of a sales cycle and the key criteria for success.
- Process oriented and able to prioritise projects and deliverables.
- Commercially credible with the ability to express value propositions and cost benefits.
- Have strong negotiating and influencing skills.
- High level of confidence in dealing with C-level executives, both external and internal.
